Refuge Contact Station Summer Operating Hours

The Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge Contact Station, located at W28488 Refuge Rd, Trempealeau, WI, will begin summer operating hours Tuesday June 6th, 2023. Office hours will be as follows:

Open: Tuesday - Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm, & Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Closed: Sunday and Monday, Federal Holidays, and Wednesday June 21st, and Thursday June 22nd for a refuge-wide staff meeting.

We have “Let’s Go Outside” backpacks available for check-out at the front desk. Backpacks have binoculars, a nature journal, bug jar and more to provide an interactive way for youth to enhance their refuge visit. Backpacks can be checked out during our Contact Station hours free of charge.
